Help to stop smoking

I'm trying to stop smoking and it's been really hard! I been smoking about a pack a day for the last three years and I just need some tips to stop! Any good ideas?

  • I smoked for about two years and when someone said "I bet you cant stop smoking even if you tried" I completely stopped and havent smoked since then.

    What I did was everytime I wanted a cig I would throw some sunflower seeds in my mouth. It helped keep my busy and I forgot about the craving. Takes about 4 days to a week if you stop cold turkey but if your weening yourself I'd say smoke one less cig every day for a month. Then eventually stop.

    Google Alan Carr ATP Smoking. I used this guy 23 years ago it was like flicking a switch in my head. The Key is you must want to stop.

    Since my hypnotherapy session with 8 other guys I've never wanted to smoke ever again. Best money I ever spent I used the extra cash to by a New MB 500 SL . What more of a reason to stop could you want?? Good Luck

    Look up the benefits of quitting, pray, and also it's proven that if you simply don't smoke for 4 days not one, you are no longer addicted. It's not like other drugs etc. It's scientific.

    Gum. Probably laxatives because I didn't poop for two weeks when I tried to quit. Stay away from smokers. Mints. Lollipops. Slow, deep breathing when stressed.
    I guess those could work. Good luck.
