Help! is it normal to be strangely attracted to my younger neighbor?

I am a mid-30ish female attracted to my 20 year old neighbor. Me and my BF (of 11 years) moved in next to him, and his parents exactly a year ago. I started developing this crush on him over the past summer when I would see him working outside and he would play the same kind of loud rock/heavy metal music that I like. He really does act older than his age and is very smart at fixing and figuring out how to do things. That and the fact that he is extremely hot is probably why I am attracted to him. He is very shy and kind of a loner (I am the exact same personality type) so it is hard to get a conversation started with him. But one night, during the summer, we all had a party. My neighbor and I got completely drunk. Everyone else went to bed and we were the only two up way late talking and having a great time. One thing led to another and we ended up messing around but didn't finish the deal because my BF woke up and ended up catching me with him. I love my BF (who is 15 years older than me btw) to pieces but he has some issues in life and I haven't had the desire to be sexual with him for quite sometime. And I know he gets frustrated with that but we just can't seem to break up because he loves me too and takes good care of me. I know he has cheated on me sometimes and I can't really blame him for it because I don't feel like having sex with him. It is strange a relationship but it works. I realize that because of my neighbor's and mine's age difference, nothing could really come about. He shows absolutely no feelings towards me when we do happen to talk once in awhile and has seem to put "that night" out of his memory. But I just can't stop thinking about him (pretty much everyday) and what it would be like if we did go all the way.

    I agree. It's not the attraction to your neighbor that's not normal, it's staying in a 'dead end' relationship with someone having issues. If there is no longer the desire for sex or even intimate things like hugging or being affectionate then, end it and find someone who understands the need for 'human touch'. great song by springsteen by the way. it's your life and, time for you to have the fulfillment and pleasures that all humans need. you only get one shot at this and, you can't just stop or erase or, start over again. from 20 to 60 is the prime of life and trust me, it goes real fast. so, stop accepting what somebody else wants and start doing and having what you want. you'll be happier and healthier.

    Normal.
    Although usually more normal with guys with the girl next door situation.

    By the way your marriage of 'convenience' is not normal. You should either discuss more about these sexual issues you are BOTH having, or just break up. Why wait until you're old to find someone you really want to be with?
    Mid 30's is prime time sexually for a woman. You do know that of course?
