Height of jealousy

Is it normal for a father to be jealous of his son. Hey before you grab my throat remember it is an exceptional case. Normally dads think "he is my son" but the same is not for me

I m not a narrow minded person I love my dad he supports me in everything but he has a sort of inferiority complex to me
I didn't realise it but after his strange attitude to me for 3 yrs I realized to my horror it was 100% true in my case.
If my friends feel that way I would understand but how can I understand it if my own dad feels so.
