Ok I date this guy from time to time he seems like a real manly type guy a little thuggish but he has a softer side.     Some stage performers have an alter ego with a different name which helps them get into the spirit of their performance. Famously, Beyonce's is Sasha Fierce. Maybe it's like that for your bf, if he's not too confident about his abilities in bed or has conflicting feelings about sex.
