    Is it Monster Girl Quest, by any chance? (Only game of that description I happen to know.) I think it's normal that he wants to share his interests with someone he loves, and obviously this isn't the kind of thing you can share with just anyone, at that.

    But at the same time, I think it's totally normal if you aren't into the same thing. I suggest you gently but firmly make it clear that the game isn't your cup of tea. Trying to play it only to humor him is, I suspect, just frustrating for both of you.
