He pushed me. iin?

We got into an argument, when I walked away he threw his shoulder into me. I threw mine into his. He pushed me and then it was just a lot of pushing and yelling at each other for probably 15 seconds straight until I stopped and he just screamed go away. I was speechless and shocked. Is it normal he pushed me back over and over. He wasn't holding back his strength. Advice please

i totally agree with Jells (randomjelly). if you are tough enough to start a fight then you should be tough enough to finish it. Im all for being treated equal to a guy and if i ever hit my partner i would expect to be hit back even though he wouldnt actually hit me. we playfight and give each other dead arms and dead legs but we would never hit each other in anger.

make sure you take it out on objects around you, not people. He has no right to do that - but you have no right to start shoving him - since when did that become acceptable?

Just stop it and start kicking the floor or something in future :)

end it. Although it wasn't very nice of you to be pushing him in the first place, it's not a fair fight and will only get worse.

Guys should NEVER hit girls. Ever. My girlfriend would kick my ass if I even tried something like that. End it!

What everyone else said BUT you're a dumbass for pushing him. I'm a woman but if I ever got the idea to hit a man I'd damn well expect a good bitch slapping back. If I didn't want to fight I should have kept my hands to myself. When I worked as a police officer I was often called to settle domestic disputes and nine times out of ten I took BOTH the woman AND the man to jail. She was a guilty idiot for hitting him and he was a guilty fool for retaliating because he had no self control. I hope you learned your lesson.

You should definitely bring it up with him. We weren't there so we can't judge but if he was getting violent he probably has some serious self confidence or image issues. I'm guessing that he is a little selfish and doesn't put you first. If so leaving him is your best option.
