I am 23 and my bf is 25. 2 months into our relationship my boyfriend was pressuring me for sex, I was a virgin then and told him that I would only sleep with a guy if he loved me and if I loved him as well. Then a shortwhile later he started saying he was falling for me then eventually he said I love you, I was already in love with him at this point and I was thrilled and happy. Shortly after, I slept with him and gave him my virginity. Now 3 months later I randomly asked him and he said he didn't mean it when he said he loved me, he says he did it coz he didn't want to lose me and that he wanted our relationship to progress and now I feel so hurt because i I love him and now he said that he did call in love with me but at that point he didn't know what to call it. I'm so distraught. Is it normal that I think this is grounds for breakup

I am sorry that he lied about loving you though, that's one thing I've always felt was special. I've only ever even said I love you to 2 different girls.

Which because of my policy, it has made things awkward at times, when a girl tells me she loves me and I refuse to say it back.

I recommend that you talk your feelings out with him before doing anything.

However, please consider that the foundation of this relationship is screwed. Not only did he pressure you, but he manipulated you for personal gain and fear; meaning he lacks the ability to communicate his feelings to you and he's selfish when he comes to his desires. These are some troubling warning signs, but if you really want to work it out, you two are going to have to talk about all of this and rebuild the trust.

He can lie to you just to get you into sex. What would he do in the future to get something from you? I think, from what you said, he just wanted to fuck you. He may not really love you. He did not respect you and see you as his girlfriend.

However, he is loyal to you. When you refused to have sex with her, he could just turn to another female, but he didn't (I assume that he didn't).

  i broke up with him but took him back because I still love him and keep thinking of the good times we share but when I really think about it long and hard, I feel sick to my stomach because everything is built on a lie. I cant even look at him or imagine myself sleeping with him ever. He says he is willing to do anything to make it up to me because he did and up falling for me but I can't forget about how he deceived me. Any advice?

    If he's willing to do anything to be with you give it a chance..maybe he's now falling in love with you. Men are so weird they're definitely not like us.
    He didn't dump you...if you love him be with him this can turn out to be really good. :)
