He choked me

We're both in our first year of sobriety he has 14 months and I have 11 months. We started dating early on, and early on I explained that I was not comfortable with him maintaining a friendship with a woman he had previously had sex with who is also and sobriety. He agreed. Last night, I found out he was still talking to her. This is been an ongoing issue. So when I confronted him about continuing to talk to her he snapped told me to get the f*** out, slammed the bedroom door. I said open the door I need to get my things finally he opened it and as always collecting my clothes I said repeatedly you are scum and you're a lying sack of s***. he got up out of bed choked me shove me repeatedly out the door through my things out and told me to just get the f*** out. And that I would get my things when he said I could get my things. I tried to go back in to get my antidepressants and the rest of my clothes and books and stuff for work and he would repeatedly grabbed me by the neck and shoves me out. He threatened to call the cops and I said go right ahead he called them and said no nevermind it's all right. Then I realized if I needed to feel safe to get back into the apartment and collect the rest of my belongings that I could use a cop's present. So I called them and asked them to help me collect the rest of my things.
