Most of you seem to be missing the point. Yes, the girl seems viscious and self absorbed, but think about it. She's found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her and he's now with that girl...it's a blow to one's ego whether self absorbed or not.
This situation sucks. My ex-boyfriend started dating a girl that HE used to make fun of and it's been 100% confirmed (and this info has been volunteered) that his new girlfriend is a huge downgrade both looks and personality wise. This seems to occur often, a relationship fails and in order to make the guy feel better about himself he downgrades. For whatever reason, a guy who has a degree of jealousy feels more secure with an ugly girl. Know that the guy deep down knows you are the better or prettier girl, but he can't keep up with you (emotionally, mentally, physically, sexually - take your pick) and that's why he's moved on. Unlike most girls who like to heal their heart before they date again, guys take a huge hit to the self esteem when a relationship feels and in order to feel better, they date quickly and it doesn't have to be a quality girl that they date. It's called rebound for a reason.
Instead of making fun of this girl even more I suggest you take the opposite approach - be the bigger person. Be friendly, smiley, bubbly, HAPPY. Poking fun at the girl may make you feel better initially but you won't feel better for long and it won't impress the guy. If you want to feel better about yourself in this situation, showing the guy you've moved on and can be nice to the girl will only show him that he was wrong about you and maybe he should have held onto you because you're beautifual INSIDE and out!
Good luck, I know first hand that this situation sucks. It's like your real estate value just went down. But this is about the guy, not you. He's desperate to move on and that's that.
