Having trouble getting in the mood

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years. We have been living together for more then a year now and our sex life has gone downhill since about 4 months ago. It's not him it's me. I can't seem to "get in the mood". Whenever he wants to initiate sex I just can't seem to get excited. I'm either too tired or can't be bothered. Once we get into it it's ok but before we do the deed I don't really want a bar of it. Is there something wrong with me? It feels like my libido has completely vanished. I feel bored and unhappy. My boyfriend is beginning to sense something is wrong as we hardly ever have sex anymore. Help!

    birth control can lower libido. just saying if you're on it. talk to him about it to see what he can do to make you get "more into the mood."

    That is true about the birth control lowering your libido. I was on it for 3 years, and since I've gone off it, it's been a little better, but I feel as if I have a hormonal imbalance and just can't get in the mood like I used to before I went on the pill.
    But if you're not on it, it could be that you're just bored.

    Well, I have been there done that.
    Ive been with my boyfriend for a year.
    And we used to have sex like everyday.
    And well we actually started doing more foreplay&roleplaying(:
    I used to be into really gentle loving sex, but he started getting rough. Choking,biting,scratching,moaning ect.
    Well I think you should go have a nice romantic candle lit dinner and then when your done, put on some nice undies then get him in the mood then do some nice foreplay. Then there if it's rough or gentle is up to you. Lol.

    I stopped taking the pill about 2 months ago but even whilst I was still on it I just couldn't get in the mood. I don't know what's wrong with me.

    me too, but mostly because he is is more concerned about his pleasure now, and wont do anything in advanced to get me in the mood and wet.
