My bank account is no one's business but my own if I'm legally single! Additionally, if we are not married I don't need to look at his bank account either.
In any relationship it is important to not share money. It should be kept seperate.
Seems a bit sneaky and underhanded.
Unless she/he spends a lot and you want to protect your future.
or you dont think the relationship will last
Hide your money in an offshore account. So the succubus can't find it during a credit report.
My girlfriend said she doesn't care about how much money I have, so she doesn't ask.
Is this because you believe your relationship will tank and you'll be left with nothing?
This attitude will almost guaranty that this will happen. Is it worth it?
Having a separate account isn't the issue here. But having a secret is. Why would you hide money from your partner? If you do this, you may want to rethink that relationship.
I think it's smart to have separate bank accounts. Don't know if they have to be secret, though.
I wouldn't. We've never discussed joint accounts and I wouldn't care either way. I wouldn't hide one from him.
