Ok so people tell me I am pretty and stuff but guys don't seem to like me. It's like they talk to me and stuff but they won't date me. My sister says I have high standards and since I am like really smart and pretty guys get intimidated. For example, I was talking to this guy and we exchanged numbers on the last day of school. On the last day of school he was like yeah I really like you because you're smart pretty and nice and stuff like that but he never texted me. It's like they say these things to me then do the total opposite and I overheard the same guy talking to his best friend about me when we got back in school in august and he was like yeah I really like this girl bro, she is really pretty , she wears glasses, and she has a nice body shape, and he kept going on and on. But he never texted me during the summer. See the guys they talk to me and all but they never date me. They think I'm pretty and smart but they don't date me. I'm confused. I haven't had a boyfriend since I don't know. Why do guys do this?

    Probably more important than your looks is your brains. Most guys don't want to risk feeling outsmarted, so they're fine approaching you and keeping things light, but probably don't want to be one on one with you. Try to set things up in a group date at first. They'll feel safer and have a better chance to get to know you in a more casual setting.

    Intimidating boys is a problem for only the hottest babes. Focus on a guy that you really like. Be sincere, say his name, make him feel that you have a "giving" personality. It will take time, but he will soften up. Ask him out on Sunday afternoon to do something cheap and easy. Be appreciative.

    You don't know this, but you will become a dream come true.
