    There are some gems hidden in all the crap. I used to be on there quite a bit, answering questions about stuff I'm expert on, and also giving opinions on other stuff.
    Also, it was fun to troll the kids who wanted you to do their homework for them. Trying to slip something by that would be plausible to them but hilarious to their teachers.

    Usually when I need a quick question answered, the first thing I find to help is Yahoo Answers or Wikipedia (and then, if needed, I go find a more credible source).

    yes and its fun! although I don't use it that much , i try to contribute if I have a good answer to give.. moreover its helpful when you need answers to different questions.

    Yes, it was fun for trolling. Sadly, not anymore- all but one of my accounts has been banned(I only use that one for legit questions), now they require a valid phone number to get new accounts :(
