Have you seen your father cry? iin?

One night I heard sobbing coming from the backyard. I looked out there and it was my father crying alone in the dark. His older brother was dying so it's understandable but he was ashamed and got tougher with me after that because I had seen him vulnerable. Has anyone seen their father cry?

The one and only time I saw my father cry was when I was in the depths of anorexia in bed refusing to eat and him by my bedside with a glass of strawberry milkshake (that ensure meal replacement drink). It makes me sick to my stomach because he's a tough guy he didn't even cry when his mother died, I broke him & I have broken his heart multiple times because of my eating disorders on the bright side I'm doing well at university final year, at least I can give him that.

I've seen my dad plenty of times. He cried when his father died. He cried when my mother had debilitating back problems. He cried when he saw his estranged sister. He cried when Blackie, our dog died. He cried after an argument with my mother. He's an emotional person whose extremely kind to most people. Though lately his racism has gotten out of hand...

Twice, I think. At least that I can remember. One time I was crying too, when I was 11 and we had to give away our dog. She was dangerous and we couldn't control her and we both knew that. But my dad and I had bonded with her more than my mother and brother who wanted her gone. We were right for letting her go though, and as far as I know she wasn't put to sleep in the dog centre but was given to someone else who knew what to do, so that was a nice ending :)

The other time was the morning before his dad, my grandad, died. We knew he would be dead before midday. I didn't cry even though I felt like I should. But my dad did a lot, even though he never liked his dad.

EDIT: Oh, and when I piece of chilli pepper hit him in the eye and we all had to go to hospital with him. That was horrible but hilarious.

  • My dad has ASPD the same as me, so i've never seen him cry, but you also don't want to hang out with him in the first place.

I find that MDMA and DMT every 4 hours for about 6 years has done the trick.

Anal funneling other powders can also work wonders.

PS: I am a gay lord

      • Drugs don't do anything for ASPD, it's not a mental issue, it's just a personality that can't be changed. And i wouldn't change it if i could, it makes my life very easy.

Well them drink the cool aid, I know what a great job for killing is and aspd is perfect for the military become a marine if you get off on killing people.

          • Aspd is not perfect for the military at all, they seldom follow orders and operate on their own agendas. If you don't follow orders correctly you'll get killed very quickly.

People with ASPD don't get off on killing people, most never kill anyone.

Hahaha correct you really do have ASPD, Do aspd get put on a list why is it hard to acquire firearms the legal way? And putting them on a government pension to not get envolved,is there really nothing a aspd person can do to benefit for themself of course but also make their country benefit also >_> Codeword for government let me do what i want.

Possibly once, when my grandmother died but my memory is fuzzy, due to the fact that my mom has repeatedly stated that he hated my grandmother.

My Dad was kind of an asshole. He dealt with his problems with anger and sarcasm. My Mom said that the day I was born, when he held me in his arms, he cried. Probably because he realized that if he stuck around, his youth was over.

Enjoy your belated youth you fat prick.

I grew up with a typical old father who demanded this "macho" idea that males express no emotions.

Dad was staring at the wall in his office, I asked him if he's alright, he immediately told me to vacant his office. I refused and demanded he answer me, from there I realised he was crying. I was EXTREMELY BEWILDERED and CONFUSED, I felt like an idiot not knowing how to react to him. So I just walked out and closed the door.

Mum told me he just found out his Mother just passed, oddly enough, his mother (my grandma) was his comfort zone, someone who he can openly express himself because granddad was exactly like my Dad.

My family is odd. I've seen my father naked with an erection, but I've never seen him show any emotional vulnerability. Seeing him cry would be something akin to the end of the world.

I don't know if this is one of those times where it's okay to laugh or if I should shut up.

Looks like it's too late to shut up, so I guess I'm laughing!

lol, no, you can laugh. We were in a caravan (everyone sleeping in one room basically) and he was desperate for the toilet so got up without dressing. But alas it was morning, and we know what happens to men in the morning. It appears he had forgotten. :O

I've seen my uncle cry before and in a honesty, it would have to be one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed.
He's basically my father figure, my male rolemodel, etc. He's one of the strongest people I know.
He's seen what I've gone through, and he's always been there for me.
He's pretty much my hero, and to see him cry was definitely a tear jerker for me.

People in my family don't cry very often, but my parents and I are very close and I have seen him cry many times. But he kinda more "tears up", I am not sure I have actually seen him cry like most people cry. Maybe when my brother fucked up, he was pretty upset then. I don't remember, I was crying.

It is normal. Men cry too, although not as much as women.
I've seen my dad cry once, when his mum died. But saying that I hardly ever see my dad so he could be crying more often. Who knows.

Once, in an airport. We got news that my grandfather had cancer and wasn't expected to live longer than a couple days. My dad decided take my brother and I to him, it was my grandfather's dying wish to see his grandchildren one last time. A couple of hours later, when we stepped off the plane to Massachusetts, my dad looked at my brother and I and started crying. He kept saying that we didn't make it and he died the night before.

How on earth would I know???

My died in a accident when I was about 2 or 3. I only have about 2 or 3 memories of him and those are blurred but they were happy moments.

I've actually never seen my dad cry, and I've only seen my mom cry a couple of times. My dad probably cried when his mother died..but that was in 1997 so I don't remember.

I really don't know, but now I'm crying! He revealed he cried on my account last year. He was very descriptive, so I can see the road, him driving in his car, worried his "little girl" is a crazy fuck. Sorry, dad. ;(

    Aww, that's so sad:(.

Yes, I have seen my dad cry, but only twice. Both times he was drunk. It's normal for men to cry, though. Your dad isn't the only one, and it's a shame he feels ashamed about it:/. It's understandable for him to act this way, though.

My dad cried when my mom kicked him out for cheating...he also rolled around on the floor and begged to stay in the attic. Nice thing for a 1o year-old to see.
