For however long you've been on IIN, have you noticed a change in your commenting style? If so, in what way?
Ex; You becoming harsher. You becoming kinder. More/less argumentative. More/less comical. Better grammar. Worse grammar. Anything. Even any slight or major changes in beliefs (political views, religious views, feminist views, racial views, etc.) due to other people.
I feel as though I've become less argumentative throughout my time spent here, if only because this site has made me more aware of the futility of arguing with people. My opinions on some things have changed since I first registered a couple years ago, but I don't know to what extent this site was the cause of those changes. I use more semicolons nowadays. I guess I'm slightly more comical than I once was, though I don't know what anyone else's opinion about my sense of humor is.
No. But changed my stories because people wouldnt answer them properly, think I'm trolling and get mad and my account got deleted for posting too many stories about loving all the people on this site,but I still love them anyway.
I try to keep my comments more concise. I am far less argumentative. Most of what I post is based more off of experience than it used to be, when it was all youthful ideal. I'm probably more chilled out about shit altogether and I don't think so hard about the shit I post "How will people feel about this?" no... no.
Years ago, I tried to initiate controversy. Now, I try to balance viewpoints.
I'm more open minded about many things. I read and respond less, put in less effort than I used to most of the time. I used to research more on subjects I want knowledgeable enough about, now I mostly just skip such posts unless it really piques my interest....that's about it... I've always gone through rotating phases of being serious and jestful. Oh, and I dint feel the need to always write something profound anymore, or at least make that attempt.
Not sure if I'm nicer or if I just don't waste as much energy on things that I know will piss me off. I'm in a better state of mind these days, so I've become more indifferent to a lot of nonsense.
Probably a little more comical. It seems like there aren't that many stories deserving a serious comment lately.
I've kept up on iin posts for about a year and a half and I swore that if I ever signed up and started commenting I wouldn't be a total asshole. Well so much for that. Commenting on the internet just brings it out of people for some reason.
Yep. They used to be serious and thought out. Now that I've kind of grown bored of the site, I just pop up to say goofy nonsense.
What I have noticed is that there are some pathetic characters on here who delete posts on their stories that they don't like. All they want is supportive posts in some big faggot group hug. When someone sees through it and makes a point you see the comment gets deleted. You see the comments number jump up and down. What kind of loser would do that? Ask opinions then delete those they don't like?
Then of course there are the loser liberals who can only sling insults, like calling people uneducated or moronic when you have no idea of their education level nor address their points. But those types are not even worth reading.
