Have you had the cops called on you?

Any stories welcome, but I was mostly thinking of neighbours calling the cops on you or something like that.

When and what was it for?

All the fucking time.. 3

One time a bottle rocket misfired and went into a neighbor's back yard. They called the cops... fortunately they didn't actually know who was responsible. But I suppose that technically qualifies as have the cops called on me. Other than that I've been stopped and hassled by the police a couple of times, but never as the result of a call.

  • I got the cops called on me when I was at Walmart. I had been on this medication for a couple of weeks and it usually took about an hour or so to kick in. I thought I had plenty of time to get to Walmart and back before it all kicked in. Well that wasn't the case I was so messed up. I was in the bra and underwear section when the cop walked up to me. I was arrested in the middle of that place walked out in handcuffs. Definitely one of the most embarrassing moments in my life. I was charged with public intoxication. It was dismissed when I went to court though due to it being a side effect of my medication I was prescribed.

      • To be honest with you not really. That medication made me loopy and have slurred speech. I vaguely remember holding a bunch of crap in my hands when they walked up to me. I do remember repeatedly saying to the cop my dad is going to be so pissed at me. They took me to the hospital to draw blood when it came back negative for alcohol and me being within all therapeutic levels of the medication at that point she should have taken me home or called my dad. Instead she took me to jail. Thats why it all got dismissed.

When i was about maybe 7 ish (dont remember exactly how old) i called the police and hung up as a prank. Well they showed up at the door. My grandma and brother were there. The cop had to explain to me why i shouldnt do that, he wasnt too thrilled. It was embarrassing.

Once by a neighbor for lighting firecrackers, another time by my mom when my sister and I got into a viscous brawl and, not sure if this counts but, me and said sister were placed briefly in a police car who was present at the supermarket when she got into with some lady and we were given a stern talking to.

Surprisingly never for B&E (abandoned houses/buildings), underage drinking in public, thieving, shooting firearms or smoking weed anywhere and everywhere - thank God!

When I let my youngest leave home at 15, the deal was; don't ever cause the cops to come to my boat. She didn't keep her end of the bargain, of course. Worse even, they came at 4AM. Kids!

My GF smokes weed in my car, even in busy car parks when people are walking by, one time this woman called the cops.

Ever since I stopped donating money to the Fraternal Order of Police, they've been in my face like a bunch of debt collectors - really mean debt collectors.
