Have you ever touched someone without their permission?

As in groping (fondling someone for your own sexual pleasure). I ask because, while we're all aware that women -are most often- the victims of men who think they can feel you up without your permission; I'm curious to know how often MEN are victims of this same violation of privacy.

And. Of course I know lots of boys/girls and men/women have been touched inappropriately/groped by people they know, such as classmates, coworkers, their doctors, friends, family, etc, etc, but this poll is for people who have been groped by people they DIDN'T know.

However, if you have been groped by someone you know or have an opinion you'd like to share, you're more than welcome to leave a comment but, please, don't vote. Thanks.

You have 2x "Yes, I've been groped by a man I've never met" There's not option for having been unwantedly groped by a guy you do know. That's happened. He was a friend of a friend who thought it would be cute to grab my ass.. My experience, I punched him in the face. It's the most infuriating thing for me to have anyone think they can casually touch me.

    • Yes. There should be two of the same options; one for men and one for women. I don't think I've made any mistakes. Perhaps I did and I'm overlooking it? If I'm honest, I can't go over the options for the sixth time to be sure. Haha.

Correct. There are no options for those who have been groped by people they know. As I said in my poll, "And. Of course I know lots of boys/girls and men/women have been touched inappropriately/groped by people they know, such as classmates, coworkers, their doctors, friends, family, etc, etc, but this poll is for people who have been groped by people they DIDN'T know."

I'm more curious about how common it is for people to be fondled by someone they've never met. Once more, as I said in my poll, "However, if you have been groped by someone you know or have an opinion you'd like to share, you're more than welcome to leave a comment but, please, don't vote. Thanks."

As for your story. Although I've never been groped I can certainly understand how it would enrage you to the point of violence. I can easily see myself hitting anyone who thought they could invade my privacy in such a vile manner. I avoid social gatherings such as concerts or festivals because I know I would be more likely to get fondled there than if I were at, say, a library or a grocery store (although I know I'm not exactly safe there, either, it just less likely to happen). I don't feel safe in large, rowdy crowds of men.

Dudes grope chicks and other dudes all the time. However generally you are more able to get away with it if its your buddy. Since your body is not going to report you if you do something like this.

I think most sexual harassment comes from someone that person knows. I think people get groped by strangers very rarely (unless they're in Japan on a bus or something).
