Have you ever sold something broken, and hid that fact?

Ever sold something that was broken, not all there, or didn't work right.....but you hid that fact from the buyer?

Comment please! What was it and what was broken? Did the person come back angry? Did they sue you, or kick your ass, or were they never heard from again?

Never, could not see the sense to it, I would feel guilty about it and the purchaser would be mad and have an un-usable product, so what would be the sense to that? Nothing!

I used a dollar that was ripped in half and used it to buy ice cream. Repaired it with nail polish haha

I have only once sold something broken and that time the buyer was perfectly aware that its broken (he was going to fix it).

  • Once to a guy who was notorious for ripping people off. I'm fairly sure he would have put me in the hospital if I hadn't been a kid at the time.

Nope. Been on the recieving end too many times though. The day I learn not to trust eBay will be a good day. I asked for a refund on a crappy bootleg GameBoy game, but eBay don't (or at least didn't at the time) force sellers to give refunds if it was less that £50.
