Have you ever served in the military?

I'd rather serve time in prison.

I think I could serve my country better by staying out of the military.

I'm not in the military but I want to join I am working out to loose the weight but my sister is leaving soon

I was in Finnish Defence Forces. My unit was for maintenance and other support (and communications, if really needed).

I do not support my country and the crooks who run it, therefore I would never ever ever join their military. If I did, I would probably end up being a spy for other nations.

I like the idea of it, but the reality of having to kill people, and the often too frequent risk of killing the wrong people, would weigh far too heavily upon my conscience.

If I had to fight to protect the people I love, I'd do so. But the justification for participating in most of the violence abroad (specifically Middle East Asia) is insufficient for me to put myself and others at risk.

Of course, if I could pick and choose the battles I engaged in based on principle, I would definitely get involved. Ahh in a perfect world...

I was in the U.S. Army. It was an enriching experience while it lasted but unfortunately things became really sour towards the end. Nonetheless, I met some really good people from all walks of life and learned a lot of things.

I'm going to Basic in 11 days for the Army reserve and I plan on going active when I finish my degree. I will be gone for six months. I'm sitting in the gym freaking out because it just hit me today that I will be out soon.

...damn. Six months suddenly seems like a long time.

No, I never worked as a waitress.
But I make some good milkshakes.
