I grew up in my grandmothers house and I started sleeping out in the living room. Every night I'd wake up at the same time a second before the grandfather clock that was in the room would go off. My blanket would be on the floor next to me every time. I tried wrapping myself up in a burrito and everything to see if it was just a coincidence but it would always be on the floor next to me.
Anyways, after I woke up I'd start to hear the wooden cabinets in the kitchen across the room creaking. I'd get so freaked out I'd either run for the lights or the lights would turn on by themselves after awhile. When I walked into the kitchen all the cabinets would be wide open. This happened to my dad and brother whenever they slept on the couch too so I know I wasn't making it up.
Everyone said it was my grandfather messing with us. They'd hear footsteps walking down the hallway at night, or a coin would drop out of nowhere onto the floor (which did happen to me a few times.) I remember once the tv in my grandmas room turned on and off and I was alone so I freaked out. haha.
Not supernatural. Everything we experience (sense) is natural.
My room mate swore that she could hear a 'ghost'. It turned out to be a broken rafter. There are many other naturally occurring phenomenons that can explain many of these observations (think of a mirage). Superstition often reinforces many of these observations.
There are, however, naturally occurring things in this Universe that we do not understand.
At times I'msure I see things, but it's probably just shapes that look like ghosts from the corner of my eye. What irritates me is that there will be atleast half of the people saying they've seen things, yet if it was true, there would of been evidence so far.
Ghosts aren't real; it's total bologna. People die and they're dead; that's it. Yes, I died and all I have better to do is try to somehow scare people, yet I can affect the material universe (throw a book) but I can't stab somebody or go inside them and rip them in half. That just doesn't make sense.
I totally agree but it's very frightening when your brain decides to fuck with you at the worst possible moment. I used to live in a old dorm and there was this time when everyone in the dorm left for the holidays. I had to stay for few extra days so I was the only one left in the dorm. Living in a empty and very old dorm that housed 100 people really messed with my head. Sometimes I would think I heard someone laughing at the end of a dark hall or at other times I thought I heard a door get slammed.
I kept telling myself "Dont worry, its all in my head" but then my brain keeps telling me "What if it isn't?" Thats what kept freaking me out
My mother and sister seen a ghost at the same exact time while they were in the bathroom. They both saw a ghost go down the hallway and into the other bathroom. They looked at eachother stunend and both ran to the bathroom where there was nothing. It was freaky. I also saw a ghost that (no joke) looked like a giant sperm. It was in the door frame and when i walked around the corner in the hallway i spotted, froze, and ran away screaming. I see ghosts every now and then, somtimes in a "orb" type shape and ive even seen body outlines and some features. I think i am becoming closer to the spirit world because ive been able to feel and hear spirits ever since by father passed.
This is really silly but true.
When I was a teen I was standing at the bus-stop on a long main road waiting for the bus. It was a summer's evening and the road was empty. I looked up and saw the bus coming about 50 yards away from me - as I looked at it, I wondered why it had its lights on and I noticed that it hadn't changed its destination sign.
Anyway, I looked down to sort out my fare and stepped forward to get on the bus......
But, where was it????
I looked up and down the road, and it wasn't there!
Another one didn't come for at least 15 minutes so it wasn't exactly a premonition.
Have never been able to come up with an explanation for it, and no I wasn't tired or on drugs. Strange!
Remember, just because something is only in your mind, doesn't make it unreal. Since when has only material things been real?
An example of real things that are only in our minds: Our thoughts.
Defining everything unreal that you cannot see, hear, taste, smell or touch, is not a scientific way of seeing the world.
People can doubt all they want, but I'm very in tune with the spirit world. Sometimes I'll just step into a place, not knowing it's history, and I can tell a spirit resides there. I get a chilly feeling when this happens. The paranormal is very real. I've experienced it since I was a very little girl. I know there is something beyond this life. I've seen it, I've felt it, I've heard it.
I never have and I sincerely hope I don't. Even though I've never seen a ghost I actually strongly believe in them. There are so many documented cases of people seeing ghosts and experiencing the paranormal. I wouldn't doubt it if some of these people were mentally ill or were just seeing things but what are the odds that all of these cases aren't real?
We can't see gravity but we know it's there and keeping us grounded. We can't see air but we breathe it everyday. This is the point I'm trying to make. There are many invisible and unseen forces out there.
