I noticed that a lot of Ops have been doing this lately to other users: particularly the regulars. The comments being removed aren't even insulting either. They seem to be comments that are not sugar coated, or comments that are a completely different from the Op's opinion, or two or more users having fun little banter sessions. Is this normal?

I think they do this when you hit too close to home and show them to be foolish, bigoted or ignorant, using their own post. It shows they do not have the ability to see themselves in any other way but their own, and don't want others to see them as they really are.
Yep. All the time, but that's to be expected. My comments are pretty blunt and usually riddled with swears.

So what did you do? There is no way your comments could be as harsh or crass as the ones I see from the usual suspects. Did you personally piss off a Mod?
Since I don't recall seeing JTR tied to anything negative/troll-like.. and I saw that account around alot.. "theybannedmeagain" was pretty funny.

Or post the comment again over and over until one of us gives up out of boredom. It's the little victories in life...
Haha yeah. Someone was going on about overpopulation being a myth, which I had very strong opinions against. I took alot of time writing those comments only to have them deleted.
It's too bad the OP was too serious to even try to let loose and have fun in our peanut butter chihuahua banter war. I guess the dildos and buttplugs forged from the comments left him butthurt. lol.

Kingofcarrotflowers and I were having a fun, mindless little discussion about Chihuahuas and lost peanut butter. The overly serious Op got angry and not only deleted our comments, but denied deleting all of mine and whined about how no one understood his or her post when he/she was told answers that he or she didn't want to hear. He or she then deleted other comments from the post. lol.
They're single minded bell sniffs whose retarded little brains can't handle an opposing opinion to their own views.
I noticed that yours do get deleted sometimes.

I can say with 100 percent honesty that I think you're one of the funniest users here and one of my favorite regulars.
I did yes. Usually its comments where I did not say anything wrong but did not stroke the OPs ego. Such as "Hi im a pedophile and I been stalking a little 4 year old girl. I really want to defile her but I feel bad about it. IS it normal I believe I might be a pedophile" and I will say something like "Get help, dont touch the kid, here is where you can get help, its totally wrong you want to rape her" and so they delete my comment. Usually they are doing something they know is immoral and only post about it because they want us to tell them its not immoral but when we tell them it is they get pissed.
Many times. It seems to me that people in this day & age cannot handle the truth :)
I only found this site couple of days ago and still trying to understand exactly how it works.
For a start, what does OP or Op stand for? And how will I know when someone answers me? Do I have to keep coming in here to check or what?
Yeah I am technologically challenged but I have plenty of other talents to make up for that lack.
Often, when I tell someone who posts about wanting to commit a act of pedophilia, to seek help from a mental health worker the OP deletes it..

Yep, mine get deleted on occassion. Sometimes it seems rather pointed because the comments don't really say much. I tend to not over analyze such things. It only makes me annoyed, and I'd rather not be that. However I have deleted comments from people plenty of times. I rarely write serious posts these days and if yoru banter or crude jokes take away from the point I am trying to make with my question, then yes, I will delete your comment.
Some people delete too freely, but I don't see the problem with it. They have every right to do so. If you think your character is being tarnished or misrepresented by the fact that some comments get deleted, maybe you should contemplate your own behavior here and not focus on the behavior of others so much.
I've done it once (maybe twice tops) when a user has come to my post, comment something completely irrelevant to the postfor mere "morality" points (which gets on my nervs whenever people do it on here). Not done it when someone has posted an opposing point of view but relevant to my post, though.
Only do it with the fake morality point scorers, though. God they irritate me. Lol.

I have gotten quite a few of my comments deleted and have embarrassed/frustrated a couple of OPs into deleting entire posts, usually with the help of another user (DJPatties, Mel, Shuggy or Duz to name a few but sometimes whatever incarnation Parrish happens to be personifying likes to step in and make shit interesting).
Yeah. Good times.
Only about half the comments I leave get deleted. Dunno why, I give the best advice anyone has given anyone... ever.
