Had one just the other night; the aspects of the dream were weird and "dreamlike"; I was at a fancy restaurant with some of the actors from "Private Practice" and for some other reason comics/magicians Penn and Teller were there and I started running around jumping on tables and starting a food fight yelling; "Come on, guys! It's just a dream! We can do whatever we want!"

you mean you didn't get shred to pieces by your projections when you screamed that you are the dreamer? ??

I've tried as well and have never managed it. Apparently native Americans do it all the time.

yes and they tell me to get laid. Every time I have had one there has been a babe in it and I started touching her because I knew it wasnt real.

I used to have them almost every night. I would be dreaming then all of a sudden Id realize it was a dream and start doing a bunch of crazy stuff. But I hated them because for some reason they'd turn into nightmares, and Id feel something trying to pull me somewhere, and Id try to wake up and Id have this weird buzzing sound in my head. Even worse some times id think Id woken up and see my room and everything, but Id notice something out of place and realize I was dreaming. Then something would grab me and try to drag me somewhere and Id hear that buzzing sound as I tried to wake myself up.

I wish I could. My friend did it once. She was like, I want a porch here! *porch appears*. Now I want that car to blow up! *car blows up*

Right after I got my hair cut realllly short, I was dreaming about looking in a mirror, and was playing with my long curly hair. Then I stopped like, wait, I got my hair cut.... Oh! I must be dreaming! I realized in my dream that I was dreaming... That's the only time, though.

I've had one, but I wasn't aware enough to do anything cool. I've been trying ever since to have one again.

Yes :) It's a good thing sometimes because I know I'm dreaming. Also my dreams get quite weird and I don't like it when I can't control my dream as it gets scary to be honest.

As a kid those dreams are very fun and I have had a couple since. Freedom it is, but we do not feel freedom anymore. Instead we do the shit we would do in our real life.
I usually have no control over my lucid dreams except for when I want to wake up, because then I just go die. Else for me I just walk around like normal.

I have them alot but I never tried to have one intentionally. Almost every time I dream, I get this weird feeling and then I just start noticing that I'm dreaming

Had that a few times! It's awesome, though the friends in my dreams are retards and won't realize that it's a dream >:(

It's fun how you can control it

I have flying dreams, but when they become lucid, I fall.

They don't happen often for me but its fun when they do. I've not tried to induce one yet though.
Usually I realise that I'm dreaming and sometimes when its a nightmare I can force myself to wake up by shouting in my head.

    I'm not mental or anything...

I would have Lucid Dreams like 5-7 times a month.. usually I just try to fly out but sometimes something negative happens when I go out too far..for an example, this one time an evil version of Ronald Mcdonald tried to kill me in mid-flight.. funny, random, but scary..

Dude I used to realize I was dreaming in the middle of my dreams and then I'd always run outside or whatever and fucking FLY AWAY. Lucid dreams are so sick.

yea I think its a dream where you have control

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I did it a couple of times, but it's so freakin' difficult!

I did it by looking at my watch to see what time it was. When you're in a dream, you can't focus enough to tell what time it is, or the time will change. Then you start to realize you're dreaming, so that's when you start to turn around in circles (in your dream) and that calms you enough to prevent you from waking up. It really worked for me. It was awesome, but it didn't last very long.

When people say that they do it all of the time, I have a difficult time believing them, I think they are exaggerating.

I didn't know what a lucid dream was. and yes I have, quite fascinating really. xx

  • I always know when I'm in a dream automatically. I also have sleep paralysis, which is probably the scariest thing on Earth until you get used to the feeling. I have also had a very scary obe. So far I am working to make them less scary, but obes take a lot of concentration.

When I am dreaming I can sort of make decisions and am aware I am dreaming sort of... It's weird. Also sometimes while I'm asleep I'll ask myself "shall I wake up, or stay asleep? " and if I decide to wake up I feel myself like being dragged out of my dream.

I have never had one unfortunately :( does anyone know how to make yourself have one? haha. Sometimes I will be dreaming and think oh, wow this would never happen in real life but I can't control what happens.

I have dreams in which i think im awake. They are usually disturbing and/or horrid. It takes me like 5-7 times to really wake from them. They make me want to die.
