I've received many shocks from cattle fences.

One would think you would get the idea, after a few shocks, that they are not to be touched. Or is this one of your fetishes? :)

Hahaha, thing is we have to touch them sometimes to see if they are working, or some people say they have switched them off when they haven't >:(

Does static electricity count? Surely just about everybody has experienced that.

Anyway, aside from that I've got shocks from a few sources. A hand-held bug zapper. A disassembled disposable camera. Even a phone line oddly enough. But I don't think I've ever been directly shocked by mains electricity.

Countless times. Most prominently when I was 8, I put a the wire of a charger connected to a switch in my mouth thinking it would give me electric super powers only to receive an electric shock in my mouth that I never want to receive again and it made me a stammerer...

Yup. Taking apart a camera. Flash was broken and I wanted to replace the bulb. However I touched some bit of the camera and got quite a shock! I was stupid enough to forget the batteries in the camera and also surprised by how powerful the shock was. From a stupid camera...

Let's see. I've gotten shocks from licking 9V batteries, shocks from 110V outlets, and also 220V outlets. Let's just say the 220 outlet was an electrifying experience.

  • While wiring my house I've gotten shocked directly by wires and outlets.

I'm also a mechanic...I've been nailed by ignition wires.

I also got shocked by a light fixture with a bad ground when I was a kid.

I still remember my first zap...on my uncle's farm...by an electric fencer.

Yes, I've been shocked by outlets a couple of times. At one time, the shock traveled almost fully up my arm before I jumped back and I felt a weird kind of numbing pain for a minute or two.

Besides that, I've had countless little static electric zaps from touching fingers with other people or doorknobs or whatever else conducts.

Working on boats, I've often needed to repair electrical equipment. Plenty of shocking experiences in my past, and probably a few in my future, to look forward to. Keeps my hair curly.

I've gotten shocked by touching the spark plug caps on motorcycles.

It's pretty weird, it feels like you can't let go even though your brain is saying "let go, let go." Your hand jus won't obey.

Yes. It felt weird. I expected my whole body to levitate and vibrate like how you see in cartoons. But no, it was just an annoying "prick" to the finger. It did hurt though.
