I don't think they go through the trash to find food to cook. The food is usually like donated.

Although I am a scavenger I don't think I ever have. I did however bust a little munchkin eating an oreo that was thrown away. It was so cute.

You mean you are eating out of the garbage for fun?

        • Not for fun but I don't see why NOT to do it, it's free and I don't like to see waste.

That sounds nasty and very unhealthy.

Yes, I have been dumpster diving. Bakeries are a good place to score free food at the end of the day.

If you're homeless, than how do you own a computer?

      • You don't.You go to the public library, get a card, and use the shit there.

I never said I was homeless. And I don't actually own a computer at the moment. Typing this out on a smart phone. But I could be at the library or internet cafe.

Many restaurants are not alowed to sell food past a certain point. Some throw it out, some take it to shelters, and some leave it by the dumpster for whoever wants it.

Even grocery stores throw away perfectly good produce because it doesn't look pretty. Make friends with someone in the produce department and you will have free and fresh veggies.
