So, I was sober almost 4 months. Then I got kicked out of my house, and started drinking again. In the last 11 days, iv drank over 2 gallons of hard liquor, and at least 60-70 beers. How does my body handle this? Are there any other alcoholics that drink to this scale?
Well I guess you'll get yourself to AA or similar eventually ....... or not.
Sorry but you are wrong. You see I've been there. A chance meeting of someone who was into recovery set me on my path to sobriety. And I'm not the only one. Have you ever been to an AA meeting? Our stories are filled with similar incidents of chance meetings when we were down and out, sleeping on park benches and so forth. Some in the fellowship may call it a divine intervention by one's higher power. I choose to call it luck. Perhaps this young man got lucky when he typed this post. He has been part of the fellowship in the past. Perhaps this reminder that he will be welcomed back with open arms is just the stroke of luck he needs right now.
I've been there too with AlAnon and I don't believe in luck or divine intervention. I do however believe in chance. What about all the people who don't get there and don't make it?
You're right that posting on here could well get him back to the fellowship and off the alcohol, but that's not luck because he took that step himself. And of course he'd be welcomed back so I hope he makes it there, as do you.
I have a really neat trick I can do. Just get me some bread, fish and water.
You need to start reduction and find something to get you out of this man.
Alcoholics can't "reduce". That's one of the reasons they are alcoholics.

The reduction method is the best, it requires planning, you need some were you can go and someone to help you, you also need something to pull you out. right now, drinkings all OPs got, he needs a life line.
Not being an alcoholic myself, I'll bow to your greater wisdom here. All I know is that the alcoholics I've known go only need to have one drink to go from "thanks, I don't drink" to "I need another bottle of scotch".
That's why so many AA nerds re lapse, they don't take control, the only way to truly cure the disease is to be able to have that drink in front of you and honestly say I could take it or leave it, I have a bottle of Vodka in my house, I could drink it anytime I want, but I don't, because I don't need to and I don't won't to, I'm over that shit now, I've found other shit to do with my life.

The best thing that could happen to him is for him to end up on a park bench and then when cold weather comes he'll end up in a smelly homeless shelter. This will kick his ass big time.
