    makes sense to me. the reason were best friends is the reason we should be together. but thats not always what they think.

    Well, it is a different kind of love for me. It's not a relationship love it is a friendship love. I would die for her, she is my one best friend. But no, I have never loved someone who was a friend like a relationship kind of thing.

    My best friend is guy and I feel really affectionate for him. He's my favorite person in the whole world and I always want to be around him. I'm not gay though. It's weird.

      Love without reciprocation is just an infatuation.
      People who mistake infatuation for love, usually haven't been in a reciprocal relationship yet.

        Actually not true in all situations. I have known my friend for over 7 years and have been very close. It wasn't until the past year that I developed a feeling beyond " just friends

        She has always been there for me through all the good times and bad times, and through my past break ups.And I have been there for her as well.

        I can honestly say I Love her and not infatuated with her. She says she loves me as a friend, and it kills me inside.

        Infatuation is always with someone you don't know that well, or know very little about and it's always about the physical. I fell in love with my friend without having sex with her, I love her for everything she is.

          I was 21 when I first experienced reciprocal love. I was 26 years old the next time it happen and I married him.

        Because if I wanted to be more than friends I would be. I evaluate immediately whether or not I'd ever sleep with a person, and quite quickly if I'd ever go out with them.

        If I'm your friend, I don't want to go out with you. I don't see you in a sexual way and I never will. I don't pussyfoot around.
