Have you ever been inside the home of a hoarder who has piles and stacks of stuff everywhere?
If so, what was it like? Were you uncomfortable? Did you say anything about their crap? What were the grossest and the weirdest parts of it?

Yeah, two of my childhood friends lived with parents who were hoarders. One friend just had piles of stuff everywhere, mostly clothes and their garage was full of shampoo bottles (literally 100's of them!). They had little pathways through the house and there was just crap everywhere you looked. The other was really gross... their living room was full of rabbit cages (at least 20) that were never cleaned and there were more outside in their backyard. They also had a swimming pool that they regularly used that was so dirty that you couldnt see them once they went underwater. I never swam over there obviously, and I only went over there twice because it was so disgusting.
Yes one of my great uncles is a hoarder. I used to hang out with my half cousin at their house when I was about 12 and we would always find something new to play with. It's quite a big house and we took all the mattresses we could find and turned one room upstairs into a massive sort of bouncy wrestling ring. We also found a harpoon gun, crossbow, air rifles and throwing knifes which we used to just shoot at random crap in the garage.
Very. Crap hanging off more crap, taking a single step carries the risk of toppling a whole stack of...whatever over.
But apparently it's all in its proper place. Ordered chaos I suppose.
My mother used to have all kinds of useless shit at her place,whenever she asked me to come over and help her clean-if I tried to throw something in the garbage,she'd yell her fuckin head off!
Our neighbor was a hoarder. She just collected random stuff, took all sorts of charity items, and never threw anything away. Mice and roaches and ants were a constant nuisance for us. I even watched a few snakes in the piles of toys for her 3-year-old out on the front porch.
My parents are semi-hoarders, meaning they have a LOT of stuff and the house is crowded, but they will toss broken stuff, and keep the house pretty clean. It can still be a pain in the ass, though.
My aunt was the kind of person who never kept a tidy house, it was always very messy with random junk and garbage all over the place, dogs pissing on the carpet, etc.
She also never washed her dishes.
One night I had to sleep over, so I grabbed a broom and swept all the junk out of about a square on the ground so I had somewhere to sleep. Pretty gross
When I was little I had a play date once at another girls house, when parents didn't check out houses their kids went to circa 1989.... It smelled like crap and they destroyed golden Graham's for me...I could never eat it again without thinking of their dirty house and watching the little girl eat it out of a pot cause the bowls were all dirty. Yuck
