Hatred of fags

fags would be what a number of british people i know call cigarettes (the reason eludes me...). i hate these little cancer sticks of doom, but i can't tell why. i have nothing against smokers (concidering i've only met 2 other people that don't smoke), but the smokes, to me, are like the last thread on a very thin rope. it's not just your every day hatred. it's similar to the jews and hitler (either way around, and combined wouldn't measure up to it). i'll admit, i have alot of issues with inanimate objects. like my best friend is a polycarbonate axe handel (yes, you can call it objectaphelia if that's how you spell it). is this hatred normal? and comment on my friend if you want too.

    wow am I the only person who read that title and thought he meant gays as in homosexuals?

    I hate cigarettes as well, and I dont care one way or another about gays.

    Okay you gotta shush pal. I quit smoking years ago but I gotta say that we should all take a little time to try and relax on this issue. However anyone wants to kill themselves is fine by me. Oh and don't start on the whole passive smoking issue it's all over exaggerated nonsense forced down your throat till you believe it.

    remember that smoking is addictive and they are addicted due to many reasons

    I totally agree with your reasons to hate the cigs, I can probably name a few:

    - cigarette smoke contains many poison
    - second hand smoking is as dangerous as first hand smoking
    - that smoke has been inside their lungs and mouth / nose etc, now they force you to breathe it
    - most smokers throw away the butts irresponsibly, this can cause fire but most often it pollutes the environment

    Not exaclty common, but alot of people hate , do you ciggs, know someone that has suffered major health problems due to smoking? if so then that's probably it

    I agree with you and so does my husband. Truly vile. I hate them. He actually punched someone that smoked on the tube. Gross!
