Hands and feet sweats all the time, everyday!

Ok, so I've looked up on anxiety and that seems too extreme to what I feel. I don't really know exactly how I feel, all of a sudden I get a warmth/pressure coming from my arms and legs and it hits my hands and feet causing it to sweat. Also my hands and feet are always very warm, whether it be winter or summer (even when not sweaty).

I'm a 21 year old female and was bullied when I was a lot younger and had confidence issues. I still have a slight confidence issue (although not as bad as it used to be). I don't get frightened or worried before suffering these symptoms, but it's all the time, everyday; at uni, work, out and about, and home (sometimes). I must admit though, it's very minimal when at home.

I know the medical term for this condition is hyperhidrosis and I did try Driclor (the roll on) and even the electric water treatment (I don't remember the exact name). None helped. It's like I'm stuck with this for the rest of my life.

What are your opinions? Does anyone suffer the same? What to do :(

Thank you

I'm 34 male and have a pretty regular lifestyle ( not overweight, eat quite well, don't drink alcohol often and mildly active). I have had a similar problem since I was 18. It has calmed down over the past few years, is mainly hands and armpits for me, I've tried everything thing but surgery - its not my thing unless it were to be ultimately life saving. Nothing has really worked but regular showering and a couple of changes of clothes daily just help to keep feeling fresher. Maybe, if you don't already try carrying a small pack of baby wipes and a small towel in a hand/day bag.
Just to let you know there are others ;)

    • I'm actually looking for anything (besides surgery) to help me get rid of this condition. When you say you have the same problem, what do you think is causing it?
