That's normal. You bleach the ends for about 20 minutes and then you do the roots. Roots always bleach faster because it is fresh hair and the heat from your scalp accelerates the bleach. Condition your hair for a few days if you want to try again. Hair cholesterol works great. When you're ready to bleach again simply only apply product to the ginger areas. Also purchase toner shampoo (purple shampoo) and it will keep all the brass colors out of your hair. Good luck!

Was it dyed at some point before you bleached it? If so, that's the problem. You need to go to a proffesional stylist to fix that. You can't do it on your own.

First off, you left the bleach on the roots for too long. If you want to fix it WITHOUT FRYING it, you have no choice but to colour it. Bleaching your hair twice will most likely leave it dry, brittle, dull and might even give it that nasty straw-like feel.
