I say trim it. Actual hair on the penis (It's possible, it grows around the base) Can be really irritating and painful druing sex. I say shave that offfff. But in general, for appearance, just a trim with no bush is good.
I'm not very hairy to begin with, so I shave it all. The few hairs on my balls tend to get plucked out during videogaming. I have a beard in order to make up for it. Even if I were to grow my "bush" back out, the hair from my neck up is almost 4 times as much as the rest of my body combined.
A purely shaved set seems a bit odd to me.
