Haagen daz vs ben and jerry's

Okay, so here's the thing. I've heard so many people say that Ben and Jerry's is the best ice-cream but I just can't agree. I've had the pleasure of eating both but if there is anything on this planet that is perfect, it's Haagen Daz ice-cream. Just the ice-cream on it's own is insatiable, whereas, in my opinion, Ben and Jerry's is quite mediocre. Which one is your favorite?

      I agree with you on some of the flavours, but there's no denying that their "green tea" ice-cream was downright disgusting!

        I've never even seen that one! Out of curiosity I'd still try it, tho! Nothing beats the popcorn flavored Jelly Belly in the disgusting rank! ;)

          The pina colada deserves a place on that list. Plum, pear and something else.

          Curiosity aside, you don't want to try it. Luckily, it was a limited edition flavour. It tasted nothing like tea.

    I like Ben and Jerry's as a business model. However Haagen Daz uses better quality ingredients. They are one of the few brands that doesn't add corn syrup to the recipe. (I don't eat corn.) But Ben and Jerry come up with better flavor combos. At least they're more fun.

      I didn't know that Häagen Daz was GMO-free. I'm surprised just like I was also surprised to find out that Jelly Belly is GMO-Free too. The reason I stopped eating Häagen Daz was because of their high cholesterol and sugar.

        Want to be surprised further? Watch a documentary on Netflix called "Fathead".

        Cholesterol is not really as bad for you as its made out to be. Our bodies actually produce some of it that we need already, while we have to consume the rest of it. It is necessary for proper brain function, too.

        I highly recommend this movie. :)

        Yeah, I jumped on the "I hate Monsanto" bandwagon a while ago. But I'm also allergic to corn so I avoid it all. And I'm not too keen on soy either.

          I'm not keen on soy either. I've heard/read it reduces testosterone in men, but haven't researched this in depth yet.
