Guys, what if a past fling bumps into you years later and told you they were pregnant by you but had an abortion?

I think I would never be so careless for this to occur. But if it did I'd be glad she didn't have the baby, but also concerned about how careless I was.
i would be thinking why the hell are you telling me this after all this time?!? if you dont have the guts to tell me when you were pregnant and discuss options then keep your mouth shut and never mention it. it is extremely cowardly and rude to think that its okay to do something like that and then just mention it in passing.

What if they leave? You can't control what another person does. Just because they're married to you, doesn't mean that they can't leave.
Let's say you marry a girl and a couple of months later she regrets it and has the marriage annulled or files for divorce. During the short marriage, you slept with her, which resulted in a pregnancy, but the two of you had parted ways before you ever found out.
The hypothetical question can apply even if you were married to the person.
Happened to my friend. He found out about six years after the event. It nearly destroyed him at the time and I know he still thinks about it, especially as his wife can't have children.
