Guys, did you ever regret breaking up with your ex?

Are there any guys out there that are or were jerks and gave up on a girl you were in love with that planned everything out with but felt love wasn't enough so called it quits with her and regretted it? or anything similar to that? Or ever just regret breaking up with an ex?

If so, can I please hear your story, yes I'm a girl. Explain what you did and how dealt with it, did you talk to her about it... Are you now with her? How long did it take you to realize she was the one?

    I'm a girl.

    I broke up with my partner a few months ago because of the way he was speaking to and treating me. I regretted it instantly and a few hours later, after a very long chat, we were back together. We're so meant to be. I know it. We both were just stood crying in a park and held each other so tightly.

    He's my other half and I want to marry him some day. I often think about what happened and know we're better for it.

    No.

    The last guy I dated was... well... he had issues.
    He had low self-esteem, was very clingy and very needy, but he was also very sarcastic and was constantly afraid that I was trying to hurt him or cheat on him and he was very insecure. He tried to push me away and when it worked he would regret it and try to win me back.

    Now, it's not like I've never dated a guy that has issues, and I am open to helping them work it out, but the whole make-up break-up thing was getting on my nerves so I called it quits and never looked back. He still tries to "work things out" every now and then and couldn't settle for being friends. Either way, I don't regret it one bit.

    I dont regret persay, but I do often wonder what it would have turned out to be like if I hadn't left her.. o.o

    i didnt regret my last one even though we dated for a year. i knew that we were both poison to each other, we were both better off.

    it really depends, in my opinion. we all make mistakes.

    Don't ever wish that. Treat the relationship as done, Box it up and Shelve it. You won't get Toxic doing it that way.

    Not really. Long story short, the feelings I had for her and my overall view on the relationship changed as life went on. In the end, I sincerely believe parting ways was for the best.
