Hi,

i am a 20 yr old male and I watch porn on a frequent and regular basis. I like when actors pretend to be coeherced with blackmail or bondage - I love watching super rough, degrading sex.

That's the normal part.

But here's the thing, I hear this stuff can distort your attitudes on women and sex. E.g. Watching actors pretend to sexually assault each other could, according to my psychology text book, make rape seem less serious and less offensive.

So here's the big question - Is it normal I'm trying to quit my porn habit?

    I have enjoyed BDSM fantasies since I was 12. I have watched a lot of rough porn and had a LOT of rough sex and guess what ... real rape is still sickening to me!

    How often do you watch porn and would you say that it has so far had any effect on your life?     On the one hand watching Gag Factor is not going to turn you into a rapist but even though those girls do consent and get paid it doesn't make it right. Those girls are desperate for money for one reason or another and their being taken advantage of.

    As far as giving up go's you just have to find something to distract you when you get the urge.

      I can't say this with 100% truth since I haven't been in that exact business ( But I am doing camshows from time to time) but I would not feel as if I was being taken advantaged of if I were to star in a porno ... I LOVE sex and all sexual things. I'm btw a 22 year old woman, looks good and feels as if doing porn is LESS degrading than trying to get a normal job. Just a thought! Not all are victims, a lot of the girls are but not all.
