Greatest leader in the past 50 years

Who do you think was the greatest leader of any one country in the past 50 years? It doesnt have to be a country you agree with but based on things like economic growth and quality of life of their people.

  • If you look at the numbers though USA is very safe. The crime rate isnt that bad and its mostly concentrated into certain areas of certain cities. Believe it or not if you exclude gangs shooting eachother the likelyhood of getting shot is very low. Maybe like 5,000 a year out of 333,000,000 ppl (0.0001% a year)

It may be expensive but we also have the best healthcare in the world. We have the best hospitals in the world and almost all the new medical discoveries come from here. And renting can be high but owning is cheaper than any other first world country with the exception of Germany maybe (after taxes germany is higher for the average house) But you can buy housing here a lot cheaper than germany if you go rural (most ppl dont but you can). Wages are the highest in the world for skilled professions. Wages in general are somee of the highest in the world. Taxes are lower than any 1st world country so you keep more of your money.

You dont want to come off as entitled. I know you're young but you and I have hit the birth lottery. Dont say things like that. We are PRIVILEGED.

  • Its very childish to say your country sucks when you are the number one economy with some of the highest wages and low costs for a 1st world country. Most of the world is very poor. What you deem necessities are luxuries for most of the world. Tell that your country sucks to those living in Mexico.

"Extremely often" it's not that likely if you were wondering.

    Statistically school shootings are rare.

Statistically being shot in america is 1/1000 narrowing that down to schools is... far less (as I cant pull up that data and not end up on a watchlist) as most gun violence in the us is boiled down to gang on gang violence and plain ol muggings. As it's not even within the psyche of hardened criminals do innact such levels of violence to random people.

Perry much unless you get 2/3rds of all people to agree on a topic nothing's getting done. The president isnt a king he cant snap his fingers and get instant constitutional breaking laws in place.

Best you can hope for is a president that keeps inflation low and the economy chugging along.

    Muammar Gaddafi

When he took power in Libya in his bloodless coup de tat with help of America his country was an absolute shit hole where ppl lived in shit filled streets with lots of crime and ppl were starving. Within his reign he had turned Libya into the highest quality of living in Africa even over South Africa. Im baffled when people ask socialist a good example of a socialist government not a single scholar will cite Gaddafis government. But he actually took the money the country got in oil and spread it out to the people. He got his countries birth rates up by gifting newly weds $55,000 USD in todays dollars. Everyone had free housing and healthcare. His country had lots of jews, muslims, and christians and they all lived peacefully together virtually no instability or drama.

Scholars im assuming dont think to mention Libya because the oil made socialism possible. Obama and Hillary had him killed by funding rebels because he had formerly decided to drop the USD and unite Africa, although in his last few years he became pro America but it was too late they were already gonna kill him. Those rebels who were funded by Hitlery and Barack Osama later became ISIS.

I've only been aware of the leaders of 2008+ and knowing their policies after 2012. Seems to me all the good ones came before I was born. So I'm not really in the best position to give hindsight on who was the best. I'm looking for leaders that didnt make anything worse.

Kim jong un in that case it's about the same as always. Totally shit.
