    I wonder if God is really doing anything to help or hinder us, it just seems most people attribute things to gods doing regardless if hes actually doing it. personally, i just see it as we are all just supposed to do things by ourselves, and god just sits back and watches.

      God endorses free will, it's not free will unless you're allowed to choose wrong. It pains him when you do so, but he's not going to stop you because he hopes you will choose right. Or, at least that's what some of his doctrine says. Honestly, it's up to you to choose what you want to believe.
