Nothing "makes" me like a guy! I choose whether or not I'm interested in someone. It's not one specific thing but a combination of different traits I prefer and seek.
If you liked everything about him but he was...flatulent, would the gas be a deal breaker?
Yes. I guess I would say no loud farting in public. Also hmm...no hot spicy foods without beano.
It's weird, I'm strict but I still think farts are funny.
Confidence, intelligence, good looks, social skills might help too :P haha lots of things can make a guy attractive, but it really depends on the guy, and the girl, and whether or not they work well together.
I realize that a guy that I love right now has "all of the above" option. Never notice about it before.
Personality is important but the most important thing for me is if we have something in common. He could be smart, hot and nice and everything but if we liked completely different things and had nothing to talk about I wouldn't even consider him a friend.
Pfft.. Well I'm not willing to compromise- I'll take it all, thanks. *Looks over at sleeping man in my bed* =D Yessssss....!!
Cept wealth. I don't really see that as something to look for in a guy. Working and able is plenty.
Somebody who I could easily sit up all night talking to over a few beers 'til the sun comes up.
Looks are only a bonus, you don't want to end up with a beautiful asshole. Plus, I believe that if you like someone inside, you start to see them as beautiful outside too.
All the usual things like a sense of humor, intelligence, etc count. But I really don't like overly sensitive guys. I want him to be emotionally strong and direct with me. He must be the dominant one, Idk I guess I'm just old fashioned.
I actually don't like it when guys buy me things, though. I feel like I owe them something then. Heck, a macaroni necklace makes just as good a valentines gift as does diamonds.
Oh, and he must never, EVER wear crocs. And he must not dress like that whole indie thing that's going on. The ridiculous One Direction inspired hair cuts and fruit shirts look terrible. Just saying.
For me it has always been if they can make me laugh and carry an intelligent conversation. Obviously good looks are a bonus but that shouldn't be what people base a relationship on.
Physical traits are not really what I count on. Yes, they make me do a double-check when I see someone I deem as good-looking but overall personality wins. First off, someone with a good sense of humour and can match mine immediately captures my attention. Intelligence and honesty is next. Thirdly, being able to see past the superficial and a kind nature. Lastly, what closes the deal is if they were really similar to me in regards to thoughts, beliefs and interests and if not have an understanding mind about it. Basically, someone who isn't a humourless pompous ass.
I don't see intelligence, confidence, or sense of humor listed; those have always been my top three.
All of the above besides wealth. I mean, he shouldn't be dirt ass poor with no ambition. If he's doing something he loves and is making enough to live, that's fine. I'll work too.
