I love my GF, but lately ive noticed that she acts differently towards me when shes around her mom.
I honestly think she doesnt even realize it. She lies about stupid things to make herself appear more intelegent or to make herself look good, but most of all to justify things frivolous actions or mistakes. She aslo talks ALOT more and generaly ends up very frustrated by me if im not constantly keeping up with and laughing at little puns she comes up with.

Not around her mom? Totally cool. IIN?

    Actually this seems pretty normal. If I talked to my parents like I do with some of my friends I think it would be a little awkward. Although I don't act like a phony pony either, I just censor myself a bit more when around family. Everyone probably does this at least a little when around certain people.
