Ok soo i just noticed i had some xtra skin down there... So ever since then its been itchy around the inner lips.. it doesnt seem like yeast.. and im a virgin plus i havent had my period yet, i have a little bit of light yellow discharge but i always had it soo.. I dont really wanna tell my mom soo am i irritated by the new skin or bacteria? Please help :(
Could be yeast, or bacterial vaginosis. Basically your vagina has both good bacteria & bad bacteria...the good, keep the bad under control. But sometimes especially if youve been on an antibiotic, it wipes out the good bacteria & you can get an infection. Its just an imbalance. But both need treatment, so go to a Dr. Its very common, no need to be embarrassed. Thats just two possibilities.
Just tell your mom. She will understand and take u to the doctor. A lot of girls get this. So don't be embarrassed. It's more common than u think. And they will give u something to get rid of it then u don't have to live with the uncomfortable itch
you should see a doctor. a few months ago i had some really bad itching down there, and i went to the gynecologist. it was bacterial vaginosis, & it was caused by an antibiotic i was taking.
