Girlfriend is really pissing me off and i'm starting to lose interest

So this is the deal, and i'll try to keep it short. Me and this girl has been dating for 17 months now and we have NEVER gone out on a date by ourself. I only see her in school and other than that its basically never. There has been a couple of times I've seen her on weekends or holidays, but it's usually when she has some kind of work to do in the community and she forces me to come. Other than that its if she does her self defense classes and she tells me to wait for her just to talk for 30+ minutes then she leaves, and one of her family members is always around! I have asked her to come on a date with me multiple times, since the first week we have been going and up to now we have never went on a official date. She always tells me she is busy or her she has to babysit her cousin. After a while she told me it was her mother fault, that she doesn't want her to go out with boys and i believed that UNTILLL i talked to her and she seemed to love me. I even asked her mother to let her go out with me and she said yes when she has time to drop her places. Up to now i am still waiting for this chance for us to go out for 17 months!!! I am really getting tired and losing interest in this to the point that i haven't asked in 2-3 months until last week and she still came with the same excuse. I know she loves me because she never talks to other dudes and is always around me when we are in school, but i feel like if that's the only time i am going to see her then i should break up with her or go back to being friends. Please Leave your thoughts on what i should do.

P.S. She doesnt go out with me but she has a club she is in and she goes out with them alot (movies,beach,etc.) Anytime i tell her that i feel hurt that she goes out with them and not me she tells me that i cant compare myself to them.

P.S.S: I solved the problem with her mother not wanting to go out with me but now i am told its her father-in-law who has a problem now.

    I'm thinking she wants you to be more social with her group etc. Infact by becoming a member of her group her will respect you more, which is kind of BITCH on your part but nonetheless effective.

    Also from what I read it sounds like this BITCH wants you to get to know her family members for the ultimate official acceptance and then you'll get your date.

    yeah my sluts used to pull this on me. girls love to decieve people to feel smart. don't waste any more time talking to her. when you feel like crying and sobbing all the time just imagine the misery she will be in when she's old and bloated suffering in diapers and getting beat by her alpha male husband she wanted so bad and dreamed of all those years you were so thoughtful and considerate. lol.

    You must be awfully young. A girlfriend who is never alone with you means there is no relationship at all. There is no intimacy. Without some kind of intimacy, where there is at least kissing involved, THERE IS NO RELATIONSHIP!!!

    I don't like the sound of this. At all. It must be making you absolutely crazy to have someone string you along to this extent. I don't doubt that this situation is detrimental to your self esteem, so you need to ask yourself-is she really worth it? And if she is worth it, then you need to come up with a game plan. The user above me had some good ideas. Otherwise, I think you should move on and find someone who isn't so afraid to commit to something as benign as one single date.

      Thanks for your advice but the misunderstanding you may have is that she is not a bad girlfriend, we basically do everything else a couple does (kiss, hold hands, oral sex,etc.) in public and basically everyone knows we are dating. She has bought me presents and made me food on several occasions she even wants me to take her V-card.Sometimes i get random texts about how much she loves me. It's just when it comes to going on dates its a different story.

        This is really confusing. I reread your post and it even says that the only time you guys see each other is in school and the occasional weekend or holiday. I think you should revise your story to make it more understandable, and then resubmit it.

    - From what you say the simple fact is she isn't into you. You are always gonna be her 'Plan B.

    - The fact she always has never ending excuses says a lot

    - Don't ever try and get in good books with the mom in order to improve the relationship. Most of the time chicks don't like guys that get on well with their mom. Usually it's the opposite.

    - You're young. Start going out with other girls.

    Forget about her.

    She will string you along until you wise up. You are just convenient to her and she is not in love with you.
