Girlfriend broke up with me to "get to know herself"

Hello,

My Ex-Girlfriend now recently broke up with me because she wants to know herself more. We are both 18 years of age and were together for over 1 year. She said she wants to get to know herself and go out with her girlfriends and have fun... Our relationship was fine other then me holding her back from going out with her girls and having a night away from each other because i was selfish and i do regret it, that could be why she wants some space from me. She has texted me saying "Are you okay" and "I love you" but saying "I want a life with you but not right now, I cant" A week before she broke up with me, we booked a 8 night holiday in Thailand, she says she still wants to go with me on holidays, Thats in 7 WEEKS. Do you think she'll be okay in 7 weeks to go with me? Do you think we could get it back together while on holidays? Whats the best thing to do for now? Leave her alone and give her space? Do you think she wants another guy?

PLEASE HELP!

    Yeah sure. She'll stick to the holiday arrangement – especially if you're the one paying for her ass to get to Thailand. After the holiday is over she'll drop you like a hot potato.

    Don't buy into her bullshit.

    Go on th e holiday. But make it clear you're going on your own. As an 18 year old in Thailand you'll have a blast.

    When a woman says 'I have to find myself' or 'Get to know myself' that's just code for "I don't want to be with you anymore and I want to fuck other guys"

    Been there done that. Don't fall for it. Move on.

    She just wants to screw other guys like her friends. Her being in a stable relationship was coming between her friendship. She had to choose and she chose her friends.

    As stupid young girls say.....boys come and go but friends last forever.

    She's made the decision to take time out and she's moved on. Do not take her to Thailand. Take a friend instead. Otherwise you'll just be taken for a ride. Not a good one either! Sorry man. She's trying to play you.

      Stupid advice from a stupid person. Of course she wants to stick to the holiday, he's paying for it and she gets a vacation.

      Once that is done she will likely go right back to "needing space". OP if you respect yourself don't bother anymore with this women and certainly DO NOT pay for this vacation. If she's paying her own way, than go ahead and go with her, maybe you'll get laid a few times.

      DO NOT PAY FOR THIS VACATION FOR HER.

      DO NOT DELUDE YOURSELF INTO THINKING THAT IF YOU GO ON HOLIDAY SHE WILL COME RUNNING BACK INTO YOUR ARMS.

    Save yourself any more heartache and ditch her. Respect yourself. DO NOT take her to fucking Thailand, never take her to Thailand. She wants to go fuck other dudes and have fun while she's young knowing she can find some other good guy like you down the road whether you want to admit it or not. Go to college, keep working, get a degree or whatever you're doing and don't fall into this hole.

    I haven't been messaging her, just giving her space. She recently messaged me asking if she wanted to meet up for lunch on Sunday. We also are paying half/half for the vacation in Thailand. She's not the kind of girl to be going around screwing guys she has been very loyal to me. I was just being selfish and suffocating her by not letting her go out on her own with her girlfriends.

    It really depends on how you feel about this girl. If you like her because she is hot, and gives great BJs then you should probably dump her ass. But if you feel that you need this girl in your life, and it doesn't matter how much money you spend even for the slightest chance that she will be with you, then by all means take her with you to Thailand! Just know that it is a long shot.
