Ugh you play video games whats un normal about that? I dont see a males only sign on the console box. Girls who think they are different for playing games are just morons.

Girl gamers come in two groups. Dumb ditzy blonde bimbos who pretend to not know what they're doing because try think it's sexy. Then there's girls who like to play video games because they find it fun. Which are you?

Although it doesn't seem like it, this is a free country, and you have every right to enjoy whatever it is you like to do, provided it's legal. Last time I checked a woman playing video games is legal, so you're fine. I hate how focused this country is on gender stereotypes, like how women shouldn't like video games or men can't like fashion or dancing. Its absurd. It's institutionalized prejudice and blatant promotion of antiquated archetypes!!! Sorry, got a little excited. But yeah you're fine. My best friend is a black, Jewish female that loves video games. Top that shit! She's a walking anti-stereotype and I wouldn't have it any other way.

There are several girl gamers out there, myself included. My brother got me into video games at a young age by making me watch him play. Thanks to him, I now love gaming with a passion.

The people insulting you are just jelous they dont know any gamer girls. That amazing, fun, and hot, to alot of people. Embrace your hobby.

If your friends won't accept you for liking videogames, and actually call you a freak, then maybe they're not very good friends. :/ I am a girl, and I love videogames! I've played PSone, PS2, PS3, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advanced, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Gamecube, and Nintendo Wii. I'm not a huge Xbox 360 fan, but I do love Fable II. :) Also, I have girl and guy friends who accept me as a videogame nerd and alot of them play games with me. :) Meeting people with similiar interests should help you. :)

I'm in love with games.<33 DS, PS2, PS3, anything!!! I LOVE LittleBigPlanet!! And Call of Duty! I play Nazi Zombies all the time with guys(: It doesn't make me feel like a nerd or freak....at all. It's normal! But, I'm only 12. Not ugly or fat.

I'm a girl, and video games are a huge part of my life. I've played them ever since I was about 5, and don't intend to stop. It's really not that unusual you know.
It sucks that other people try to put you off though, I'm lucky enough to have a best friend who loves video games almost as much as I do.
Never let other people put you off what you love to do, they're just insecure morons. It's a free country, so do what you like. :D

I just love gaming and I purposefully made my gamertag un-girly so people don't know I'm a girl...I also have quite a deep voice (sometimes a pain xD) but useful for the xbox because people are more likely to take me seriously! :D

Totally normal! I'm a 27 year old mother and I love gaming! I play our 360 way more than my husband does. I understand how it could make you feel like a nerd, but don't let other people make you feel weird about what you love, they just don't understand how frickin awesome it is!
