    Yeah. Love is confusing without proper relationship examples to learn from during childhood. Most adults tend to fall back on what they're use to, dispite it being dysfunctional, or be extremely hesitant and doubtful out of fear of experiencing that same fate as they're parents or grandparents.

    This is just my opinion on it, but there could be many possibilities like shyness, indecisiveness, and more.
