Girl brings treats to work and puts her photo next to it

When trying to score brownie points at work with food rather than doing your job well, is it normal to make extra sure people know the goodies on the counter are from you by putting a big smiling photo of yourself next to it with a "Help yourself! :) " note? In addition to emailing everyone and placing the treats in your peripheral vision so you can keep track of who owes you?

  • Weird. If you want to sabotage her, put a paper plate next to it and write “donations” on it.

      Hilarious idea!

How about a note saying, "Sorry! Not suitable for those allergic to nuts, gluten, or cat hair!"

I don't see the problem. Eat up. Just watch out for any "special" ingredients.

The picture and 'help yourself' note is kinda ok (it's still pretty weird but it's not that bad) but the rest too much.

The treats and the help yourself note alone is cool, a very nice gesture actually. Adding the photo though is a little on the weird side, and the email and peripheral vision thing is also out there.

Weird but I wouldn't worry about it. Eat the snacks and be glad they're there.

Sounds like a nice girl, wish my coworkers were that nice and shared food, you have no idea how lucky you are...

It is a very nice gesture and one is lucky to get a job with someone being generous and bringing food to share. I just think it would've made her look a little more normal if she just had the treats and the help yourself note without her own photo and the email and peripheral vision thing.

I'm not mad at her, cause it's better than no treats.

Pretty pathetic, really, but it made me laugh.
