my girlfriend broke up with me saying i need to finish my studies now and get a job before we can continue our relationship so i can go prudly to her father and ask her hand. is it just a reason she is giving to break up with me . i cant concentrate on my studies as i am worrying all my day time
Yeah fuck that. What a horrid bitch. If she cared about you she would stick around no matter what happened to you. What she REALLY cares about is money, security, and how people (including her father) will judge the two of u for you not being self supported or having a college degree. Go find someone who will love you unconditionally for who you are. Now what you will become
What? Fuck that. Shouldnt she be there along the way? That's the point of a long term relationship. Or so I thought.
With people like that, one would have to ask what she is bringing to the table instead of expecting things from you only.
Sounds like she and/or her father are very traditional. She probably anticipates her father's rejection of you and desires his blessing for a relationship. Or perhaps he would not let her be at peace with a man he considers a loser; it could very well have little to do with her own feelings.
