Getting whipped

I dont really have much of a story but is it ok for my parents to whip me every time i get in trouble i would skip school and my dad whipped me , my dad would always get a belt and whip me and not just 3 or 4 times but maybe 10 i really dont count i mean most of my friends got whipped once in their life when they were kids but my dad actually would push me around and lock my head in between his legs (i would be on the floor) and whip me , when i get up my legs would be sore and i would have some lumps on my thighs

    Wouldn't say it's normal. Course' I wouldn't know. My parents never really hit me. They have pulled my ear a couple of times, but that's it. But I don't think it's normal to beat the hell out of your kid with a belt.

      its actually a form of child abuse , i told my mom that and she dont agree but i wouldnt want to end up in foster care i just dont think its right i mean they whipped me several times for doing something wrong and i still ended up doing it again

    Sounds like you deserved it so I'd say that it's normal. I used to get the belt across the bare bottom when I did something wrong as a child.

    It is child abuse, which is illegal in most places. Please, tell someone of authority. Example: The school counsellor, a teacher you trust, one of your doctors, etc.

        It's better then what you are experiencing now. I could've been taken into foster care but, I was trained to be silent and I lied to the social worker when she came… *sigh* I regret doing that. If I had been truthful, I could have saved myself from a world of trouble.

          i dont just get whipped for no reason im just saying , when i get in trouble which was not so often or i would get grounded , maybe what you went thru was different my parents still loved me
