It is normal to want to acquire something that you couldn't normally have, in this case, your friends wife. I believe it is normal and in human nature to have these desires. We act on these desires sometimes, but it doesn't mean that we don't have morals. We all make mistakes in life. What isn't normal? A lack of regret after making those mistakes. You posting here shows me that you do regret what you've done, and I feel that it is in your best interest to tell your friend what happened or have the wife tell.
