Fruit and veggie cannibalism!!

There's an awful lot of cartoons of fruits and veggies eating other fruits and veggies!! In fact, I'm enjoying a box of 'Lemonhead and Friends' candies and on the box is a cherry that has taken a bite of a watermelon and is spitting out the seeds!! A strawberry is wearing a slice of kiwi as a fucking hat, and a banana has a lei made from berries!! I don't know WHAT the peach is doing, but it can't be good.

is it normal to find this a tad disturbing?? What even makes the artist draw such things?? It's friggin' weird.

Kinda cracks me up. :p It's not tooo uncommon to see pigs chickens or cows printed on meat products, while they're not cannibalizing one another it's still somewhat disturbing (to some people) that a pig would be winking at you right on the package of his dead and ground up kin.

I agree the peach is disturbing. What's disturbing me more, though, is the lemon. It's wearing a bow tie and appears to be holding a roll of toilet paper. I can't think of any situation that requires a lemon to use toilet paper. And that it gets dressed up for the occasion? It makes it seem like a public performance.

This is just awful!

They do look a bit soulless. You should also check out the 'Maoam' packaging for some 'fruit on fruit.'
