no weight, jus if your stoumach hangs ova or u have a gut that sticks out too much
@TheKokugan: that's Dunlops syndrome. It's when your belly done lops over your belt.
You can find BMI calculators online that start with your height and weight, but I haven't seen one yet that starts with your height and gives your preferred weight range. Oh, and it varies child-teen-adult and by gender. There's also waist-hip-ratio. I just found a site that looks simple and interesting: http://home.fuse.net/clymer/bmi/
Dang, I'm six feet tall and have a healthy weight range that can vary almost 50 pounds!
LOL if this was in kilograms I would consider all the options above average weight.
PS: There's alot of factors in determining correct weight for you.
I'm only around 5'1" so I would consider myself over weight if I was over 120.
When you bent over to get something and your stomach get's in the way, that is how you know when you need to lose weight.
that depends on your height and muscle mass alot of football players way about 300 lbs and they are pretty much all muscle
I'm 5'5 and 130lbs :( I consider myself very fat, even though I exercise regularly so I assume some is muscle... But I still think that for me anything over 125 is fat. I'd prefer under 120 though...
I'm 5'3 and 113... anything above 115lbs is getting "fat" for me. I am also very muscular and a figure competitor so my "self" standard is different than most. Even at that weight I can bench 135lbs and squat 185lbs though :)
When I go past 54 kg (119 lbs), I'd start the weight-loss exercise routine. I'm really short, so I have to keep an extra eye on my weight. Makes me wish I was taller...
im a little hevaier then normal right now, usually i try to be around 103-105 lbs. today i weigh about 110 lbs!!! yuck!!! if i go over 115 im going to freak out.
im 5'8 and i wieight exaactly 139 pounds! :|
i knoww. im fattt.
and i have a big belly.
and people keep tellin me its perfect weight, BUT it doesnt seem like it!! :(
Me personally would be 145 and up. Although it depends on the persons height. I'm 5'2'' and 145. I have quite a bit of chubbiness. 145 might be the perfect weight for someone taller.
I guess it depends because you could just be muscular and over the weight you consider to be "fat"
im built kind of like a guy but my weight is close 165, im like 5'10". i consider myself overweight though.
What kind of question is this? I am 6'2 and 210 pounds and I am quite in shape so none of these are overweight for a guy!!
Well, I am 6'1...and a girl. No need to tell me how freakishly tall I am. I am like 155 and I feel so fat. Like it isn't even funny. I just feel gross in general..
i thought this was in KGs so i was like WTF !! im muscly and big and shit and im 70kg
I'm 5'4 and 142lbs. I'm not fat, just muscular. I wish I was 87-100lbs. I don't like being too fit, I feel like a man. I was born this way. I'm losing weight though, I want to be trendy and sexy like my friends. =)
Are u bonkers! That is not fat. Is that u in your profile?? Or justin beiber? Just kidding!!!!! Your not fat! I'm 5'6" and said I'm around 160, and I'm not fat.
Well shit, being 180 for me would be like losing a leg. Mostly because I am 6'3" and all. I have about .10" of fat around my body, and I weigh about 200. I think I'm fat, because I cannot see my abs defined yet, and yes, they are there, I work 'em daily. Hope this helps.
I'm an obese waste of space based on this, I'm 6 foot 2 and 240! I highly doubt there's a woman in the world who'd even look twice at me!
It depends on the height. I'm almost 5'8" so I'd imagine I have more body weight that a 5'1" woman...
Well I'm 5'6" and I'd like to be 140. I'm closer to 160, and no, I'm not fat, I have a lot of muscle. Anything over 170 and I'm not a happy person, but I don't let that happen, only once I was a bit of a blub tub
I usually hover around 120-125 lbs., and I'm thin, but not skinny, at this weight.
At 150 lbs., I'm chubby, but not "fat".
At 185 lbs. or greater, I'm very overweight and unhappy.
I'm a 5'10 bloke and i weigh 180 pounds and i consider myself neither fat or thin
Starting from 130 kilograms? :) Or are these pounds?
Anyway, you can't consider some weight to equal to fat. You can weight a lot, but you could also be tall and muscular.
The BMI scale gives a better perspective. Take your weight and multiply it by 708 and then divide that number by your height in inches squared. If the result is between 19 and 25, then you are within your optimal weight.
Dude, it depends on the height. Here's a simple way to know if your jumping the red light of your normal weight, it's inaccurate but will do.
Convert your weight in cm, and exclude the first digit on the left.
Example: if your height is 185cm, then you should NOT weigh more than 85kg. Again it's inaccurate but it gives you a quick idea where you stand.
i'm 5'6" 195 lbs and people say i look like i'm 170. they don't believe that i'm that heavy. i do have 2 labor filled jobs so i do have muscle. the only part i would like to change is the lower abs. and ideas that actually work. i'm trying to lose weight and get down to 170.
